"I went
and checked out some of your stuff and I'm really impressed
with it. The cartooning reminds
me of some of the qualities I like in Matt Howarth's art, and
the preview chapters for A Capella
felt like Winsor McCay exploring an emotional landscape rather
than his usual dreamscape vistas.
Really cool."

"...A Cappella
is a sweet, sincere, curious meditation on the nature of
love and life and faith. The three short stories ask some
profound questions‚ and don't necessarily
offer any answers. Pointeau seems more interested in asking
the questions, and prompting her readers to ask those same
questions themselves, than in offering
any pap answers. A definite plus in my book.
Recommended
to fans of Chi, Fauna, Salamander Dream, Jason Neuman's
Cyril, and Scott Morse."
- Rebecca Buchanan, Sequential Tart
"A thoughtful,
nicely drawn, compelling graphic novel."
- Patti Martinson
"A Cappella is different than your traditional comic...
The nature of the comic is very abstract... I could relate
to some of the profound stories and was amazed by their depth.
I
also enjoyed the artwork, [...] the finer details of the
comic's artistic style.
This comic is unlike all others that
I have reviewed... If you should happen to see A Cappella
in a book store one day - take a look."
